Digging Deep for the Deep Well Project

I have found that most dentists and dental professionals choose their line of work because they have a deep desire to help people. So, when my team heard about local members of our community in desperate need of food or a rent payment to get through the impact of COVID-19, we wanted to help. Sometimes our neighbors just need an immediate “hand up”, so that they can then get back on their feet.

I have followed the Deep Well Project since moving to the island in 2000. I love that they aren’t a huge, bureaucratic organization, but was designed to provide emergency relief right when it is most urgently needed. Did you know that they have provided hot showers and laundry to homeless clients as well as one-time home repairs to help keep people safe in their own homes?

Meanwhile, ROC Dental Group pledged $1000 in August and will continue to support Deep Well’s efforts in the months and years to come. My team is dedicated to the well-being of our community and, because Deep Well has such a huge influence on the health of our neighbors, we feel great about supporting their efforts.
